Trace of Light is built around subtle differences within an almost monochrome white surface. The direction of the hand-applied texture divides the composition into geometric fields that become visible as the light and viewing angle change.
A small fragment of gold leaf moves between them like a brief trace of light — the only vivid element within the quiet composition.
The work changes with its surroundings: the relief can almost disappear and then re-emerge through the direction of the surface and the movement of light.
Each artwork is prepared in protective packaging appropriate to its size and textured surface.
