Point of Light is built almost entirely from deep graphite tones. Different directions of the hand-applied surface divide the work into geometric fields that appear, disappear and shift in depth as the light changes.
At their point of intersection, a small fragment of gold leaf becomes the only bright accent within the dark composition. Rather than functioning as decoration, it becomes a point of concentration — light made visible by the quiet surrounding it.
The work is particularly expressive in side light, when the direction of the surface itself becomes part of the composition.
Each artwork is prepared in protective packaging appropriate to its size and textured surface.
